About This Course

Getting your own operations in order first: Evaluation of the environmental and social footprint related to bank buildings, staff, and suppliers. This course defines the different aspects of environmental and social footprints that a financial institution may create through its operations. It identifies footprint issues related to office buildings (in particular energy, including related CO2 emissions, water, waste) and provides suggestions on how to manage them. Various social impacts are also examined, in particular those related to a range of labour practices related to staff, subcontracted staff and the supply chain. Finally, a series of relevant key performance indicators and CSR measures are suggested.
